I can help you make an impact online with a website customised to all your needs. Whether you want your beautiful portfolio to be shown to the world, or you want to run your online store and sell your latest invention, I can translate your story to a unique and responsive website.

I create most of my websites on WordPress, an easy to use content management system (CMS) so you can edit and update the website yourself with the manual I write for you. WordPress has many beautiful responsive templates that I can customise to your story with a bit of extra coding. If you’re already running your website on a different CMS and wish to stay, I’m able to create beautiful websites on most existing systems out there.

I’m detail oriented when it comes to design and when I built a website I make sure I look at all the different aspects to achieve a stunning looking website that actually works for its purpose.

How do you work

Designing and building a website is creative, enjoyable and highly productive. To achieve this I believe in a collaborative process between the web designer and the client. This requires open and direct communication, active feedback and regular reviews.

Discuss your requirements – We’ll chat about your goals and what your website needs to do.

Cost estimate – Once I have an overview of what you’d like to achieve I can provide you with an estimate.

Let’s go for it! – I’ll produce a project overview document which will list all agreed deliverables and costs. Once this is agreed I’ll take an initial payment of 50%. The project will then be scheduled in.

Research & Discovery – I’ll immerse myself in your business, and ask plenty of questions. We’ll create an inspiration board together so I’m equipped with the knowledge I need to create the right website for your business.

Wireframe Sketching – We’ll talk in detail about what elements are required where, and how the site will work across different screen sizes.

Design – I’ll either create visuals for key pages or show you design elements, such as the choice of typography, colour pallet and website components. We’ll collaborate throughout this whole process.

Development – I’ll build the website’s shell and we’ll review how it looks and works. I’ll continue to build core elements while making sure the site is optimised and performs well.

Training – We’ll run through how to use your Content Management System so you can edit and add to your website.

Testing and Deployment – I will do cross-browser and device testing, before deploying onto your hosting solution.

How much does a website cost

The costs of a website depend completely on the project, the needs, wishes etc. My prices start at €1000/R14.800, and for this you get a 5 page responsive website in WordPress, including premium WordPress template for life, tutoring sessions so you can rake on the basics yourself afterwards, SEO and analytics set up, branding across the site, set up of templates for pages and posts so you can add them later on and not have to worry about them looking different to the initial ones I make.
