The story of WeWOOD

For Inspiring Stories, a website hosted by Fashion Agent Goodbrandz in the Netherlands, I created several animated info-graphics. The short info-graphics promote the different sustainable and responsible brands that Goodbrandz sells. All video’s are in line with the style of Inspiring Stories, and at the same time uses the colour schemes of the different brands.

WeWOOD is one of these brands. An Italian watch brand making 100% natural watches from only recycled and reclaimed wood, like furniture, broken music instruments and scrap-wood. For every WeWOOD sold, they plant a tree, giving back to mother nature!

The story

WeWOOD, the brainchild of an Italian watch lover and eco-smart entrepreneur, was born in Florence, a city famous for its art, beauty and creativity. WeWood combines this Italian art with the commitment to help and respect our planet.

Stylishly crafted timepieces made from 100% natural wood, completely free of toxic materials. And the real cool part… We ONLY use reclaimed wood, like your old table, your grandpa’s old rocking chair, broken instruments and industrial scrap wood. Making our watches as Natural as your wrist!

But thats not all! To set back time and help restore Mother Nature, WeWood teamed up with tree planting organisations around the world. For every WeWood sold, we plant a tree. and Our goal: 1 million trees in 2020.
